Our Executive Team

W. T. David Murray, President & CEO

Through his distinguished career, Mr. Murray has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial business ventures: Irontree Oil Field Services Corp.; Bayridge Resources Ltd.; and Eznet Corp. by way of example. From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Murray was Senior Vice President for Sharwood and Company, an investment bank located in Toronto, with a focus on start-up companies. During this time, Mr. Murray participated in financing ventures for a variety of companies, with deals ranging from as little as $2 million to more than $200 million. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Murray worked as the Executive Vice President for Helmsdale Financial, Inc., an investment bank also located in Toronto with a focus on early-stage financings. During this time, he participated in financing various companies with more than $300 million in value.

Mr. Murray attended the University of Calgary (Bachelor of Commerce program), majoring in finance and accounting.

Mark Voorhies, Executive Vice President, Operations

Having lived and worked in the United States, Canada, Eastern Europe and Australia, Mr. Voorhies understands the complexities and particulars of doing business internationally. He was the National Sales Manager for Gateway Computers Australia/New Zealand in the early 2000s and then was recruited by Dell Computer, where he achieved many milestones and prominent awards in his seven years with Dell. He was the Acquisition Sales Manager for Dell in Australia, working in Asia Pacific, and then was promoted to Regional Sales Director for Canada to help start up the Software and Periphials division, receiving the highest rating for a sales manager. In 2007, Mr. Voorhies joined Enquest Energy (which became Speedy Heavy Hauling) as Executive Vice President and was instrumental in building this company from essentially a start up to more than $150 million in revenue.

Mr. Voorhies attended the University of Utah, focusing on Economics and Philosophy.
